Official 2017-25-8--18-49-04Feenics Ryzin was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a young child, she developed a love and passion for music and writing. In her early adulthood, she was diagnosed with a rare visual impairment that left her legally blind. Overcoming her disability, Ryzin finished college, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her writing career began in 2012, with He Can’t Love You Like I Love You being her first publication.

During late 2015 and early 2016, Ryzin gained notoriety for her unique acoustic guitar arrangements and covers of popular songs recorded by famed and legendary rap artists Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. On April 2, 2016, Ryzin realized her dream when she took to the stage with Bone member Krayzie Bone to perform an acoustic rendition of his verse from the Art of War (1997) song “All Original” in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She lists some of her musical influences as Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, N.W.A., Parliament, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Prince, and The Temptations.

Ryzin’s hobbies include singing, writing, drawing, and collecting wrestling memorabilia. She loves music and plays several different instruments, including the piano, guitar, and drums. She currently resides in her hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
